ALS
ALS

Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is described as an irreversible, progressive neuromuscular disease that results in death in most people within 5 years. There is no treatment. The goal of conventional medicine is to delay progression to death.

Corey experienced his first symptoms in May 2021 at age 47 and was diagnosed with ALS in August 2022. His disease progression was typical. By November of 2023, his mobility was declining rapidly, speech was impaired, and breathing was becoming difficult.

Shortly after arriving at the center in November 2023, the progression of the disease was completely stopped. Breathing returned to normal, and control of speech was restored.

In April 2024, Corey continues to improve. He is slowly regaining strength in his legs and grip strength in his hands.

MS
MS

Multiple Sclerosis is described as an irreversible inflammatory neurological disease affecting brain white matter. After many years of relapses and remissions, the disease becomes progressive and eventually, the sufferer is incapacitated. There is no treatment. The goal of conventional medicine is to delay the progression of symptoms.

At age 53, Lisa has suffered from MS for over 30 years. Optic neuritis at age 21 left her blind in her right eye. In 2007, she was formally diagnosed with MS. In April 2023, Lisa was beginning to experience disease progression – fatigue, reduced cognition, and reduced leg mobility when she began Dr. Goodenowe’s MS protocol.

Since April 2023, MS symptom progression has stopped. By November 2023, Lisa’s had no more fatigue. She can now lift her leg higher than in the past several years. Most astonishing, she is beginning to see out of her blind eye for the first time in 30 years!

Using advanced MRI technologies, Dr. Goodenowe was able to show the brain restoration responsible for her regained vision.

Alzheimer's & Dementia
Alzheimer's & Dementia

Alzheimer’s is described as an irreversible, progressive neurodegenerative disease. Persons are typically institutionalized within 3 years of diagnosis, and most will die within six years. There is no treatment. The goal of conventional medicine is to manage symptoms and provide temporary cognitive relief.

At age 78, Pam was experiencing severe cognitive and emotional symptoms of dementia and was about to be put on hospice care. When Pam arrived in March of 2024, she had no independent life skills, she could not remember her daughter, and she was having multiple bouts of crying, confusion, and repetition every 20 minutes.

Eight weeks later, in May 2024, Pam regained significant independent functions such as helping serve food and making coffee. She gets up and greets the morning staff every morning. She can remember her daughter with no prompting or visual cues. Her moments of confusion, fear, and crying are only once per day and are easily resolved with caregiver assurances.

Rare Diseases
Rare Diseases

Rhizomelic Chondrodysplasia Punctata (RCDP) is a rare genetic disorder affecting less than one out of 100,000 children.

Thatcher was born in 2016 with RCDP. At age 2, his mother, Nicole, recognized that something was wrong. After many years of trying to determine her son’s illness, he was formally diagnosed in early 2022 as having the non-classic form of RCDP.

In September 2022, Thatcher started taking ProdromeGlia™, and he experienced improved sleep, less crying, and a happier demeanor. With continued treatment, his echocardiogram showed his heart is now functioning normally. Thatcher no longer depends on formula by G-tube for nutrition, and low seizure activity finally allowed him to wean off of seizure medication.

By March 2023, Thatcher had gained 5 lbs., had grown 3 inches in 6 months, and had made gains in connecting emotionally and verbally. Thatcher’s journey of growth and development continues still.

Dr. Goodenowe works with families to develop custom solutions tailored to the unique needs of children with rare diseases.

Cancer
Cancer

Alex is in his 70s and was diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer, which had also metastasized into his bones. He had been septic twice with some of his treatments. Alex had many health challenges to overcome.

In August 2023, Alex was experiencing extreme fatigue. His ability to articulate his thoughts and speech was severely impaired. He shuffled when he walked and could only walk short distances. Radiation treatment was also hard on his heart. He was not able to enjoy life as he knew it and he had stopped volunteering, writing, being able to watch his grandchildren’s sports and family events.

Alex started with Dr. Goodenowe’s center in September 2023. By December 2023, he
was off all of his heart medications, his heart specialist was amazed, he had more energy, and by February 2024, he was able to go to his grandchildren’s sports once again and was back volunteering and writing. Every month, he feels more and more like himself. Today, Alex is cancer-free and able to enjoy his life and family.

Autism
Autism

Brooke was diagnosed with autism at one year old. She also has POTS and cerebral palsy due to a stroke in utero. She would often moan loudly for up to 10 hours a day and hit herself on the head, making it difficult for her family to take her in public. Brooke spoke only a few words sporadically and rarely made eye contact. She struggled with physical activity, running only about 5 feet with her arms locked straight behind her. After hiking a quarter mile, she would often lie down on the trail, yelling and covering her ears with her hands.

At age 17, Brooke began working with Dr. Goodenowe Restorative Health and her father described her improvements as “nothing short of a miracle.” Within the first three weeks, he started to notice positive changes. After a year, his daughter’s moaning has reduced tenfold and her eye contact has improved by 70%. Her mobility has drastically improved—she can now hike up to 5 miles a day and enjoys rock climbing. Brooke’s speech is also developing; she is starting to speak in full sentences. We are all excited to see how she progresses.
