The Dr. Goodenowe Restorative Health Center, located on a quiet lake property in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, offers a structured, science-based program for individuals whose health has been disrupted by neurological or inflammatory conditions.
This is a self-directed* program meaning participants want to take a more active role in supporting their own health.
While we do not diagnose or treat disease, we focus on restoring the underlying biological functions – like energy production, cellular repair, and structural integrity – that support physical and cognitive capacity.
Our approach helps individuals stabilize, rebuild routines, and improve quality of life using modern biochemistry and personalized support.
Your Path to Recovery
Live in clinic
Transition home with continued support
The program begins with a three-month, all-hands-on-deck restoration phase at our facility, designed to shift your health trajectory by supporting your body’s natural ability to function and repair. This is followed by a nine-month at-home integration phase, where we work closely with you and your caregiver to maintain progress and stability. Ongoing support and annual maintenance options are available to help you stay on track.
During your three-month, in-facility phase, we will focus on:
Restoring Your Biochemistry: Through scientifically targeted supplementation, biochemical assessments, and personalized health plans.
Restoring Your Physiological Health: Through scientifically-targeted physiotherapy, operational health assessments, and tailored rehabilitation exercises.
Restoring Your Will, Purpose, and Confidence: Through goal setting, counseling, companionship, engagement, and contributions to daily life.
During your stay, we take care of everything. The program includes all your meals, assessments, blood testing, supplements, activities, airport transportation, and physiotherapy. This comprehensive package ensures that you can focus solely on your health without any additional worries.
After the in-facility phase, we transition into a nine-month, at-home phase, where we continue to be by your side. We help you integrate the knowledge and skills you acquired during the first three months into your daily life, ensuring your health restoration trajectory remains steady. Each client is assigned a dedicated health coach/navigator who provides personalized support and guidance, ensuring you feel supported and never alone on your journey.

Move-In & Orientation Assessments & Goal Setting Initial Nutrition Optimization
Upon move-in, we conduct comprehensive assessments and set initial goals, focusing on nutrition optimization, daily routines, gentle physical activities, sensory stimulation, and personalized cognitive and fitness programs to establish baselines and care plans.

Program Optimization
This phase includes enhancing mindfulness, nutrition, and supplement management while expanding cognitive challenges, physical activities, and life skills training. We incorporate memory-enhancing games, art and music therapy, reminiscence therapy, and supervised outdoor activities to promote overall well-being and engagement.

Program Habitualization: Working Your Program Into Sustainability
We focus on implementing personalized reminiscence therapy, enhancing nutritional support, introducing mindfulness techniques, and strengthening social and communication skills through group discussions and vocational activities. Family involvement and continuous monitoring ensure the treatment plan evolves based on individual progress.

Heading Home: Exit Assessments & Home Planning
Fine-tuning treatment plans, reinforcing daily routines, and emphasizing positive social interactions are prioritized while conducting comprehensive evaluations. Families are involved in therapy sessions, and personalized post-treatment plans with a blood test schedule and supplements for the next nine months are developed, ensuring a smooth transition and continued support at home.

Home-Based Continuation
We provide regular check-ins, continued cognitive exercises, periodic physical fitness assessments, and social engagement activities while encouraging community participation and regularly evaluating long-term progress to adjust support and plan for the future.
